Backups & settings

Download all saved and archived note text and metadata. Attached photos, audio, and PDFs stay in private R2 and are not embedded in PDF/CSV/JSON exports in this version.

What full history means

All currently saved and archived notes are exported, regardless of search filters. Permanently deleted notes and previous versions of edited notes cannot be included because they are not retained by MindScrap. CSV/JSON preserve original Unicode. Media files must be downloaded individually. The lightweight PDF shows any unsupported symbols as readable Unicode codes.

Personalized collections

MindScrap automatically creates a useful topic collection on the first clear match, reuses it for future notes, and keeps the original wording available. You can also create your own:

Included monthly allowance: 300 credits. AI questions and text sorting use 1 credit; image analysis 5; short audio transcription and sorting 20. Optional extra pack: 100 credits for $0.99. You can always capture without AI credits.

Complimentary subscription

Your subscription is included at no charge. You receive the regular monthly AI credits and can optionally purchase additional packs.

Owner · Nine free guest subscriptions

Invite up to nine people by email. Each invitation reserves a free subscription until you revoke it. Guests use the regular MindScrap app and receive 300 included AI credits per month. You can revoke or reassign any guest seat; their notes remain in their own account.

After inviting someone, send them the MindScrap app link. Signing in with that exact email automatically activates their complimentary subscription. No credit card required.

Account and data deletion

Export your files before deleting your account. Cancellation and permanent data deletion cannot be undone.

Reminders & follow-up notifications

Reminders always appear in the app. AI may suggest a date, but you must click Add before a notification is scheduled. Actionable notes without a date appear under Follow-ups. Email is optional and off by default.

Email alerts are opt-in and use the email you verified to sign in.

Delivery uses Resend and Cloudflare's scheduled task (usually within five minutes of the saved time). Email is not a guaranteed emergency alert; push and SMS notifications are not included.

Direct capture and AI

Voice recordings, photos, and documents are stored in private Cloudflare R2 after it is configured. AI automatically transcribes voice recordings, corrects typed/dictated wording, describes photos and supported PDFs, and files notes into relevant collections. The original recordings and original text remain available. Search remains keyword-based; full vector search, offline sync, and native phone push notifications are not yet included; optional email alerts are available.
